Write for us
We welcome considered pitches about the small, specific ways people gather, share resources and take part in community life. A strong proposal gives readers something useful to notice or try without claiming that one approach fits everyone.
What to pitch
We are interested in clear explainers, thoughtful comparisons, pieces of cultural or practical background, and focused guides for a particular kind of gathering or exchange. Choose a distinct subject, such as making a skill-sharing session easier to follow, and show what the reader will take away.
A useful proposal
Tell us the working title, the central idea, the intended reader and why the subject matters. A brief outline can show how the piece will unfold. Keep the idea grounded in details readers can assess for themselves, and flag any specialist claims, permissions or sources the proposal would depend on.
Sending a pitch
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Please share a concise description rather than a finished full-length article unless we have requested one. We cannot promise publication, and an unsolicited pitch does not create an editorial agreement.
